Dark rectangular textile divided into six panels by horizontal rows of beadwork. It has beaded designs of stars/crosses, diamond shapes round dots. The makers name and the date 1930 is beaded across the top. The lower edge up to the first horizontal row of beads is decorated with short vertical double rows of beads, with two round dots in the space between each pair of rows .

Anthropomorphic upper body and head extend from the vessel form below and are carved in one piece. The vessel/head has a hole in its head that opens into the hollow below which holds liquid. Into this hole a stopper with a geometrically carved top and long dip-stick is inserted. The figure has a realistically carved face and helmet-like hat of hair and it stares straight ahead. Its arms are folded across its chest - the left over the right and a string of black and white beads adorns it neck and torso

Round vessel that narrows to its upper end to become a naturalistically carved head that stares straight ahead. This has a hole in the top into which a stopper with a geometrically carved top and long dip-stick is inserted. A carved snake is coiled around the neck of the vessel. The vessel is damaged with a large hole in its right hand side. It has patches of blue paint adhering to its body and the snake is striped black and white.

This has a hole in the top into which a stopper with around knob and long dip-stick is inserted. The vessel has blue paint on the rounded section of the body. Above this is a band of engraved crisscross lines and the section above, on top of which is the head, is undecorated except for a band around the neck. The head has a cap of black hair, red marks on its cheeks and nose and it wears a black and white necklace of beads around its neck. It stands on a round slightly raised foot.

Dark rectangular textile heavily beaded. It is divided horizontally just above the centre line with a row of beads and the makers name and a date (1965). The upper section has four fish as the main beaded motif and the textiles printed pattern has been picked out in beadwork. The lowers section is covered with round dots and crosses . Hanging vertically from the centre of the upper edge is a narrow panel of beadwork as well as strip to the end of which a round metal tin has been attached. This hangs down below the bottom edge of the textile.

Multi panelled apron made up of ostrich eggshell beads that have been threaded onto gut/thread? and strung symmetrically in approximately 70 rows in approximately 25 vertical panels. The skirt forms one continuous ring and in the front section the beaded strings have a looser arrangement and hang down in loops.

Figure with thin raised arms bent at the elbow. It has a large head, nose, mouth and lucky bead eyes. It has articulated legs with the left having a boot and the right having none. The lower legs and feet are arched and pointed. It wears a short skirt with designs in pokerwork. It is made of pale wood

Rectangle of dark textile onto which two elephants have been beaded - one smaller than the other. Their bodies are covered in colourful patterns and designs. The name of the maker is beaded into the upper section and to the left.

Bottle completely sheathed in wirework in bands of silver and brown . It also has 4 ? vertical rows of rings of wire stitched into the wire sheath with the same wire.

Wooden pole with head as finial. It has a round disk on its head, small eyes, two indentations for a nose and an open oval mouth. There are three horizontal grooves below its chin

Flat woven telephone wire basket with a pattern divided into 4 zones. Each has diamond shaped and triangular patterns against concentric rings of changing bands of colours. The colours are reminiscent of the old South African flag and the ANC colours.

A heavy fringe of bead strings hangs down from a narrow beaded band. From the centre hangs a plaited strip to which two round medallions are attached. The medallions are hollow in the centre with a cross of beads suspended across. The cross is decorated with buttons.

Wide flaring basket with small base. `this brightly coloured basket is divided into 8 radiating zones with concentric bands, triangles and squares of colour.

Two figures joined together with hands touching and outstretched arms. Both have thin articulated arms and legs. They wear short skirts with dotted and linear pleated designs in pokerwork. Both are made of pale wood with very black hair and mouths. One has a pair of horns.

Two elongated figures with articulated shoulder, hip and knee joints. They would have originally been joined together by the arms as in JAG 1994.5.7 a+ b. One has a small beard made of fur and the other has breasts.
