Blade has a short curved rod inserted into the finial and fastened at the back. This flares out into a blade with a very pointed upper and lower section. The shaft flares out towards the top and flattening on either side to become the finial. The shaft is sheathed in 2 bands of wire work .

Shaft takes a right angle forming a finial that is a truncated cone. From the front of this projects a rectangular blade flaring slightly at its end. There are diamond shaped 'eyes' on the two sides of the finial and a rectangular blade of metal inserted vertically into the 'neck' of the shaft. The combination of elements allude to a duck or bird-shaped head. The end of the shaft has a metal tip.

Knife consists of a metal blade and a carved upper handle. The sheath is made in two pieces and bound together with metal wire bands at top and bottom. It has a small projecting tip at its end. The finial is carved in the shape of a warthog standing on a raised column. The front of the sheath has two lines of zigzags carved into it.

The ivory finial is carved in the shape of a quadruped standing on a raised conical pillar. The quadruped and the base of the hilt are carved with zigzag decorations. the legs of the animal are carved with horizontal stripes. Attached to the sheath with a leather thong is a rod of ivory/bone. This is decorated along its length with criss-cross engraved lines and ends in a flat ovoid shape with geometric shapes as decoration.
