    Was erected by public subscription as a mark of affection and esteem and commemorative work of the late Blanche Sanders, (wife of Daniel Sanders J.P) who for nine years was the mayor of the city and who's efforts in the cause of charity and particularly on behalf of orphans. Knew no bounds. OBIT January 10th 1925.
