These statues form part of the ABSA Bank Pty Ltd Art Collection. In April 2012, the heritage foundation entered into an loan agreement with ABSA whereby it was agreed that the kudus may be exhibited on the Voortrekker monument heritage site. On 4 May 2012 they were moved from erstewhile Strijdom square in Pretoria City Centre to this site.
