    Description

    Kgosi Linchwe 1 was the Kgosikgolo of the Bakgatla-Ba-Kgafela at the time of the South African war (1899 ‐ 1902). In January 1900 the Bakgatla-ba-kgafela defeated a Boer force trying to relieve Derdepoort laager in a skirmish known as Ntwa ya Kaeye.
