    Description

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi boarded a train at the Durban station on the 7th of June 1893 and was forcefully removed by white policemen because of his skin colour. Gandhi's philosophy of life was profoundly influenced on that fateful day. He said that the dedication of his life to the cause of human justice equality began from that experience. Today he is recognised universally as one of the greatest leaders because of fighting racial discrimination and inequality in South Africa.
