    Basupi high primary school is the first school to be build in Ikageng location. It was a learning haven pupils of Tshepo primary school, previously Bantu primary school of Makweteng where black people were forcefully removed and relocated at Ikageng. The school is famous for its excellence in sports, notably, soccer and choral music. The school hall was used by Roman catholic church for its church services. That was during the time when the church building was under construction.
