To honor Amy Beihl for selflessly and tirelessly made South African aspirations to her own and lost her life in the turmoil of our transition, as the new South Africa struggled to be born in the dying moments of apartheid. In 1997 the Amy Beihl foundation was founded by her parents to develop and empower youth in South Africa through educational and cultural programs.
