Description
Remembrance of a spot where the first bullet was shot that started the Mahikeng Siege Anglo Boer War.The monument was erected on 1974 by the National monument council to commemorate the event of the war that occurred in Kraaipan during the night of the 12/13 October 1899. The first encounter of the Anglo-Boer (South Africa) war took place at the foot of the South of the station.
