    Easy to access but not much information on it. We went to the local museum but could not find any more information regarding this Monument

    The purpose of this Monument is to commemorate  Mr. Van Heerden, who fought against the Cape Colony whereby he was killed during the Anglo Boer War outside NG church.

      We travelled using the N4 toll route and we went into the surrounding village which led us to the bushes deep in the mountains where the monument is on top of the mountain where the train railway was built in a height of approximately 7 to 8.3 meters.
