/These Plaques represent councilors of Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality who have passed away since 1994. This is in remembrance of these heroes who have served our Municipality par excellence. These are loyal citizens who have made a significant and meaningful contribution in our municipality since the advent of Democracy. On the slopes of the Donkin Reserve beneath the Lighthouse is a garden of remembrance in a forest of Euphorbia trees, typical of the Eastern Cape and each one represents the councilors/
