    Chief Cingo,the son of Ngqungqushe and younger brother of king Faku,was born during the 18th century. Chief Cingo assisted his full brother, king Faku in the management and administration of Pondoland.He was one of the king Faku's advisors and decision makers. Faku sent him as a delegate to the cape governor in grahams town to exchange christianity with the elephant's tusk,it was through his advice to king Faku that the first missionaries like rev.shaw and rev.palmer came to Pondoland. He was involved in the war between Amampondo and amabhaca ka Ncaphayi where Ncaphayi was killed in 1840. Chief Cingo,witty and humble, shall always be remembered for his hard work and his contribution to Amampondo.Purpose:
