    This plaque was unveiled on the occasion of celebrating the 150th anniversary of he arrival in 1860 of indentured Indian labourers in South Africa, in recognition of their toil, sacrifice and the contribution of subsequent generations, working together with the people of our country, towards the struggle for freedom, non racialism and a democratic South Africa....
