Description
To represent the universal rights of women and children whilst a symbolism of Anchor and Scale represents the core values of the company. The original statue was done in 1894 whilst the replica was constructed in the year 2001and this sculpture is fashioned after the BoE company's emblem or motto.
Original Position
The original statue is situated in a niche of BoE's old head office at the corner of Wale and Adderley Streets, Cape Town and was constructed in the year 1894.
