There are no dates mentioned about the sculpture only that of a beer crafted and introduced by the Table Hotel in 2011 the Oscar Lager. And the only dates are of the pictures taken of the statue. The Seal being honoured here tragically died in 1997 in a boat accident. Directions to Site
From Kimberley town on Phakamile Mabija road, turn right into Cecil Sussman road, drive down, then turn right into Pniel Road at the traffic robots, drive down and turn left into Galeshewe Road, you will pass the Petrol Garage on your right and approach robots, keep on driving down on same road, as you reach the destination you will find traffic robots on same street, proceed and on your right you will reach to the site
