Description
Is to remember the Great Vaal harts engineers concrete works. During 1930 there was a big depression in South Africa, people were dying of hunger so the government came with the idea to build dams and make jobs available to the people. People started working and got paid 20cent per day.

From Kimberley/Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe hospital in Dutoitspan road, you head north west on Dutoitspan road, turn right into Lyndhurst road, then turn right into Park road, turn onto Harley road, then turn left into Lodge road, as you approach the Kimberley Girls high you will see the site within your right and it is situated within the neighborhood 2nd house from the street corner
