    Description

    To commemorate the part Cecil John Rhodes played in the expansion of the Railways in Kimberley , Beaconsfield and surrounding areas.  The Statue is 2,4 meters in height, and weighs approximately 1500 kg

    Original Position
    Mafikeng. In June 2009 Randall Bruce heard there was a Statue of Rhodes in Mafikeng which was to be disposed of. He made enquiries and found that this was the case. The committee decided that the Statue could be given to the Kimberley Club as they would place it in a prominent position.
