The site commemorates the burial place of Kgosi Galeshewe who was killed in 1927. The site tells the story of how Kgosi Galeshewe was against the seizure of our land in rebellions against British colonialists and the Boer and serves as a reminder of our many fearless kings and who were tortured and killed in defence of our national heritage
