    Description

It was a meeting house, for prsyers, bible studies or other religious and literacy classes. For this reason it was not called a church, but "GESTIG" which is equivalent of an American "meeting house". Twenty years later it became a fully fledge church for the poor khoikhoi and slaves who converted to Christianity.
