Description
The Statue is a bronze Memorial to the Rhodes University Soldiers who died during World War 1 (1914-1918) and World War 2 (1939-194). The Statue depicts Saint George, who is one of the most venerated saints and megalo-martyrs in Christianity, and he has been especially recognized as Military Saint since the Crusader.
