    /Anglo Boer War 1899. 100. 1999 Anglo Boereoorlog Impi yamaBhunu NamaNgisi Princess Christian Hospital Isibhedlela Inkosazane Christian Princess Christian Hospital Between 1900 and 1902, British troops and Boer prisoners of war were treated at the Princess Christian Hospital which stood on this site. The Hospital was named after Queen Victoria's daughter and the prefabricated buildings were donated by Alfred Mosely on land loaned by Frank Stevens. The 100 bed Hospital was the first building to use electricity in Pinetown. This was supplied by an accumulator on the Sarnia Railway Station and served the X-ray equipment, Dark Room, Operating Theaters and Dispensary/
