Description
Disk Montshiwa born from a family of royalty but decided after receiving modern education to follow modern politics. He was once a General Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) in the early 20th century.
He is one of icons of Bokone Bophirima(North West) and the cemetery where he is laid to rest forms part of the Provincial Liberation Heritage Route that aims to link all heritage sites that have liberation struggle significance and symbolism.
