PROPOSED SAFARILAND TO BIEN DONNE 66KV OVERHEAD POWERLINE AND SUBSTATION, SIMONDIUM.

The applicant proposes to develop a 66kV overhead powerline from the Safariland substation to the Bien Donne substation in the Southern Paarl/Simondium region. The powerline will run for nearly 7km from north near the R301 to the R45 in the south. The powerline will have a capacity of 66kV and service the most northern portion of the Stellenbosch Municipality near Simonsberg in Groot Drakenstein.
