The proposed development footprint is located in an area of moderate sensitivity as per the SAHRIS PalaeoSensitivity map. The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit requests that a desktop Palaeontological Impact Assessment be conducted by a qualified palaeontologist as part of the proposed development EA process. Further comments will be issued upon the receipt of the outstanding report.
