In terms of palaeontological heritage, the SA Palaeontological Sensitivity Map indicates that a significant part of the study area has High fossil sensitivity, therefore a palaeontological desktop study is required and based on the outcome of the desktop study, a field assessment is likely. Once this study has been submitted, SAHRA will be able to provide further comments.
