Final Comment

SAHRA is satisfied with this amended recommendation. Further additional recommendations are provided as follows and must be included in the EMPr:

• Monitoring reports compiled by the qualified palaeontologist must be submitted to SAHRA upon completion of the construction phase;
• Should fossils be uncovered and require mitigation, permits in terms of section 35 of the NHRA must be applied for from SAHRA in order to conduct the required mitigation.

The remainder of the conditions provided in the Final Comment issued on the 13/03/2024 remain valid.
