JL Dube Construction Permit

The proposed JL Dube project site is situated at Portion 398 of the Farm Piesang Rivier No 805 which is within the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality's jurisdiction, Kwazulu-natal.
This project aims to refurbish all existing infrastructures and ensure that the building complies with the building regulations. The proposal is detailed below:
1. Removal of asbestos roof tile and install new IBR sheeting.
2. Replacement of wooden timber decking and staircase.
3. Filling cracked walls and painting.
4. Refurbishment of lights
5. Replacement of JL Dube wallpaper with an adhesive wooden material
6. Realigning the JL Dube house roof, and gutter and replacing the wooden columns for proper support.
7. Restoring the old pianos and furniture.
8. Refurbishing the ablution block fittings and painting the walls.
9. Replacement of gravesite tiles and renewing the writing.
10. Replacing the museum TV screens
