Installation of a water pipeline between Gemsbokspruit Reservoir and Tweefontein D Reservoir, Tweefontein, Thembisile Hani Local Municipality

The Thembisile Hani Local Municipality plans to install a new water pipeline between Gemsbokspruit Reservoir and Tweefontein D Reservoir to allow for the transfer of approximately 312.5 3m/h of water between the two reservoirs. The water pipeline will have to cross the Klipspruit (Stream Crossing C-D; 285 m in length) and one of its tributaries (Stream Crossing A-B; 550 m in length) and associated wetlands. Installation through the streams/wetlands will require trenching/plinths/footing structures. The stream crossings will take place on the Remainder of the farm Tweefontein 675 JR, Tweefontein, Mpumalanga.
