Interim Comment

The SAHRA Development Application Unit (DAU) notes the heritage studies along with the recommendations provided therein. SAHRA request that the DEIA and its appendices in support of EA application must be submitted to the case. The .kml file submitted to the case does not seem to map the correct location. The file should map the exact location of the Muiskraal Solar 1 project and access road.

The SAHRA will comment further on the application when the above-mentioned documents are submitted. The applicant is advised to extend the EA process in terms of section 19(1) of the NEMA EIA regulations in order to address this comment.
