Thank you for submitting your application under Section 27(18) of the National Heritage Resources Act No.25 of 1999 for the proposed re-zoning of the property to Mixed-Use Zone: sub-zonings: MU1 and MU2 (split zonings) with the primary and only use (MU1) being the restaurant.

The South African Heritage Resources Agency has reviewed the documents submitted and authorizes the change in zoning for the Castle of Good Hope. The Applicant must apply to the relevant planning authority for the necessary approvals to proceed with the proposed work.
