On this the 4th day of November 2007 The President of the Republic of South Africa Honourable Thabo Mbeki planted a tree to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the death of Inkosi Albert Luthuli A struggle hero who became the President of the African National Congress from 1952-1967 and received the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution towards the liberation of the people of South Africa
