MNP 48 is situated approximately 100m southwest of the main road between the Matlabas and
Bulge Rivers, and is close to the northern gate of the Marakele National Park.

Statement of Significance

According to the guide followed by the recorders, the site has moderate significance. There potential danger assoicated with the structure thus it is imperative that SAHRA be consulted before any activities take place on the site, as the age
of the structures is not known. The site will be monitored once every six months.
