The proposed Project Fairway involves parts of the farms Sterkfontein 52JT, De Kafferskraal 53JT, Sterkfontein 749JT and Buttonshope 51JT near the Steenkampsberge between Lydenburg and Roossenekal in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The proposed Project Area is located at the bottom and along the eastern edge of the Groot Dwars River Valley. The GPS coordinates of the site are 25° 09.517'S; 30° 07.124'E.
