The sites consist of medium to high densities of LSA lithics and micro lithics scattered over an area of 50m2 on average for all 3 sites.Other artefacts associated with the site are ostrich egg shell fragments, bone fragments and coarse ceramic shards. Most of raw material found on site consisted of Crypto-Crystalline Silicate (ccs).

Directions to Site
The sites are situated in the northern most section of the study area, on a red Kalahari dune towering some 30 meters above a horseshoe bend in the Kuruman River.

Demarcate as no-go area with a 20 meter buffer if prospecting activities are to be
conducted closer than 100 meters from the site and monitor for disturbance by ECO. If at any stage the site is disturbed a qualified archaeologist must be contracted to
evaluate the damage and make recommendations on the appropriate mitigation
measures.
