This memorial commemorates the English (Royal Canadians) who fought in the Anglo Boer War .Strathcona's Horse Canada the Victoria cross an Act of Valour on July 5,1900 at wolve spruit SGT.A.H.L. Richardson rescued a comrade under relentless enemy fire in one of the most daring feats of the entire war.
