Nilsson Hall working at St Petersburg 174960.
The panels probably imported Berlin work.

Major J. Sparke Stabb's Anglo-Zulu War Diary, 14 June – 3 September 1879, leather-bound. The diary covers the last 3 months of the war and describes dealing with supplies to the troops and thefts of same, burying dead horses.

The portrait of Anna de Koningh is 38.0 cms across x 47.5 cms vertically – this includes the wooden frame, which is 3.5 cms wide. The actual sketch is therefore 31 cms across and 40.5 cms in height.
The artist is ABRAHAM SALM, who worked from the middle of the 17th century until well into the eighteenth, and visited the Cape, where he did some of his etchings.  The drawing is signed by him. The date on the drawing is stated as “Anno” 1685 – at the age of “Statis Suo?

Bronze sculpture of a scout on lookout.

Rectangular wooden wall sign with gold/yellow writing: “Non-Whites” “Nie-Blankes” and image of a hand indicating to the right. There are 2 holes on either side, used for affixing the sign to a surface/wall.

Small undecorated flattish round silver case, short chain is attached, spring plate mechation inside for storing coins.
