Below the platform are two inward slanting rectangular pillars that rest on a raised ovoid base that taper towards the upper surface. This is decorated with bands of horizontal grooves.

The 'arms' make a 90° angle to joing two rectangular pillars or 'legs' on either side. Between the setwo pillars is a head with a face. From the top of its head a third cylindrical pillar projects to join the underside of the crossbar. Base of two flat linked circles with small pleats at centre front and back.

The pillar consists of two cylindrical arches - the upper inverted and resting on the back of the lower - with a cylindrical ring looping around their join at the center . The two legs of the lower arch rests on a flat bilobal base with champhered edges flaring outwards. The arches and ring are decorated with grooved lines running along their length as well as rows of raised bumps.The champhered edge of teh base is decorated with carved quatrifoil forms made up of 4 inward pointing triangles. There is an old label stuck to the crossbar.
