Inscriptions
This most recent memorial to Smuts is a bust in a semicircular colonnade meant to evoke the architecture of the Union Buildings. It stands on a sloping lawn in a fenced security area on the west side of the Union Buildings where it can be seen only with effort. Neither the bust nor the structure is particularly successful artistically. Refer to the images.
